We have stayed in Corvin Point for three nights, and it was definitely one of the best places we have stayed in ever. I have to say that the place was even better than some more expensive “hotels” we have stayed in. As someone said earlier on here this is definitely “more than a hostel”.
We were in private double bed (although in our room was also two more beds, but we were alone, and were also asured by the guy from reception that we will be alone, so that was not a problem) room with our own bathroom, and everything was super clean and neat. The bed was very comfortable, sheets were clean, same as towels. Only problem was the fridge (it was not big deal for us, because it was cold and we didn’t have a need to use it) – it was empty, and it looked cleaned, but somehow it had pretty strong bed fridge smell. However, as I said, for us it was not a problem, and it didn’t make our time in there less comfortable.
Hostel itself is located in a quite street, and although window was facing the street, and we have stayed there over the weekend it was very peaceful. Street might look a little dark, but that shouldn’t worry you because it is next to the one of the main strets in Pesta. Tram lines 4 and 6 stop pretty close, and the metro lines 4 and (i think) 3 are also near by. Also there are plenty of markets, fast food kiosks and restaurants in the area. Stuff was friendly and helpfull.
In conclusion – we were very pleased and will probably come back once we come back to Budapest again!
